ingredients
- cucumbers/red onions/carrots
- white vinegar
- water
- peppercorns
- bay leaves
- chili flakes
- honey/ maple syrup
- garlic cloves
- mason jar
recipe
- cut veggies in your preferred shape.
- bring a cup of water, half a cup of white vinegar to a boil
- add peppercorns, a bay leaf, chilli flakes, honey and garlic cloves.
- allow liquid to cool.
- place the veggies in the jar and pour the liquid . till the veggies are submerged.
- refrigerate for at least a day before adding to burgers, sandwiches or salads!
tips
- a mandolin helps a ton to get some even and thin veggie slices.
