egg drop soup
ingredients
- finely diced onions
- diced garlic
- chili crisp
- stock cube
- egg
- sesame seeds
- spring green onions
- salt and pepper
recipe
- heat some oil in a pot, add the onions, garlic and chili crisp.
- once translucent or even slightly golden brown, add a cup of hot water with a stock cube.
- bring the mixture to a boil and drop in an egg while mixing consistently.
- do a salt and pepper taste check.
- top off with sesame seeds and spring onions greens.
tips
- use the whole egg for chunky egg bits and only the whites for egg ribbons in the soup.
