japanese fried chicken
ingredients
- 300g boneless chicken
- corn flour
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
recipe
- dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- pat the moisture out of the chicken with a paper towel.
- add salt and pepper as per taste.
- heat a pot with oil to deep fry the chicken.
- prep two bowls with corn flour and the egg (beaten).
- alternate dipping the egg in both bowls till the piece gets a good coat.
- deep fry till golden brown.
tips
- although it can be enjoyed by itself, i like to make a honey soy sauce to toss the chicken in and then top it off with sesame seeds and spring onion greens.
